Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa
  • Deliberate self-starvation with weight loss
  • Preoccupation with food
  • Intense, persistent fear of gaining weight Binge eating, usually in secret
  • Refusal to eat, except tiny portions Vomiting after bingeing
  • Continuous dieting Abuse of laxatives, diuretics, diet pills
  • Excessive facial/body hair because of
    inadequate protein in the diet Denial of hunger or drugs to induce vomiting
